Mainly because CZ hasnt tried to change the direction of the company. If anything DW has become more popular since their merge with CZ. Ok good! I thought you were being for real about the Kimber's! CZ makes great guns and so does Dan Wesson. Last edited by J.Netto Septemat 09:19 AM. Oops! My apologies to the OP and the Mods. It was never supposed to solely be about Glock, and whether or not they are worth a crap.įorgot to add - I guess it was my post about Jarrett and Glock that got this off topic. But, I believe Glocks are very reliable and have their place as well.Īlso, my intent with posting that link was not to get this thread off topic. I thought they trained several people in the department as certified Armorers?ĭon't get me wrong, I'm not a Glock fanboy or anything, I'm actually a 1911 and a S&W revolver guy. At the end of the day, they have to work.Įvery manufacturer is going to have issues with this or that. I just can't believe the ONLY reason Law Enforcement and military around the world use them is because they are cheap. I've been carrying and shooting Glocks for years, and I've never had any issue with Glock's reliability, or the ruggedness of their parts.

I would say that most of the departments now are going to the M&P for reliability. Do you want a gun that has plastic sights and a trigger spring that tries to tear itself appart each time you pull the trigger? Also why they have to hire a Glock Amorer to change all the parts and repair the guns that fail. That's because they are so cheap, lowest bidder and all that.
